Booking and payment questions
How do I book this cruise?
Go to the booking tab in the menu on this website.

Can I use my CB Handle or nickname when booking the cruise?
No, you must use your name as it is printed on your travel documents (passport, birth certificate, state ID).

When I book the cruise, am I already registered?
No, the registration is separate. You must go to the registration tab in the menu to complete the registration form and pay the registration fee.

How is the deadline to book (November 30th) later than the final payment due date (November 2nd)?
The final payment due date only pertains to those on a payment plan. Carnival Cruise Line will drop all reservations that have not been paid off by that date. After that date, you will need to contact Kariba, and all reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. The CB Cruise Break will not accept reservations in the group after November 30th.

After my deposit is paid, how do I make additional payments?
The invoice that is emailed to you with your new balance after paying the deposit can be used to make additional payments at any time. Be sure to save that email.

What if I can't find the email with the invoice?
Contact Kariba at karibeanescapes@gmail.com to make additional payments.

Does Carnival Cruise Line offer travel protection insurance? How much does it cost?
Yes, they do.  The cost is dependent on the category of cabin you book, and Kariba can quote the price whenever you are ready.

Are there any other travel insurance plans available?
Kariba can get you signed up for an annual plan that protects all your trips over a 12-month period (rather than just one trip). It’s designed for frequent travelers who take multiple vacations or business trips in a year and want year-round coverage without buying a policy for each trip.
Here’s a short breakdown of what it generally covers:
Trip cancellation/interruption – reimburses prepaid, non-refundable trip costs if you must cancel or cut a trip short for covered reasons (limits vary by plan).
Emergency medical and evacuation – helps pay for unexpected medical care and transport if you get sick or injured while traveling.
Baggage and travel delay – reimburses for lost, stolen or delayed bags and extra costs if your trip is delayed.
Rental car damage – covers damage or theft of a rental car in many states.
24/7 assistance services – access to global support for travel emergencies, medical referrals, lost documents and more.
Contact Kariba for more information or to sign up for coverage for you and/or your family.

Carnival cruise line questions
Do I need a passport to cruise?
A passport is not required but recommended. If you do not have a passport, you can use your official birth certificate (not a copy) along with your state ID. If there is a difference in the name on those two documents, you must bring proof of name change.

What is the Carnival Cruise Line service gratuities price & policy?
  • If guests have not prepaid their gratuities, the recommended per person amount of $16 per day for staterooms and $18 per day for suites will be posted to their Sail & Sign account on the second to the last day of the cruise.
  • Gratuities may be adjusted at the guest's sole discretion after they have been posted by contacting Guest Services while on board.
  • Gratuities will be considered final after a guest disembarks, and no changes will be made after the cruise.
